An Ode to Librarians Everywhere!
I gladly admit that I have a thing for librarians. Yes, I read books. And magazines and newspapers and check out DVDs and CDs. I love to sit in libraries and work or just while away the time. Kids doing homework, folks getting online, community meetings. All of it.
Personally my life was changed by one librarian in particular. My own private librarian, my college sweetheart who answered my every question with a stack of books and articles the next night at dinner. The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in the mid-70's. Doc and Al. She was and still is my Sugar Magnolia. To her I dedicate this Ode to Librarians.
Raw data can be organized into information but it often takes a librarian to extract the wisdom within.
